See our fabric care guidelines below…

How do I wash my home linens?

All our products are made of 100% cotton fabric

Cotton benefits from frequent use, so don’t hesitate to bring out your new home linens for everyday occasions! Cotton is a very strong fiber, even when wet, so it holds up very well to repeated laundering.

All our cotton home linens can be laundered at home. We recommend washing in cold water with regular detergent free of any bleach products.

Stains on cotton home linens may be treated with most off the shelf stain removers, however stay away from harsh solvents and bleaching products such as chlorine, peroxide or sodium carbonate.

Cotton home linens may be dried in a machine dryer. We suggest removing while they are still slightly damp, giving them a good shake and lying flat. We love our products with a bit of body, but should you prefer to iron, do so immediately after drying for the best result.

Shrinkage

During the dyeing and printing processes, the yarn and then the fabric is repeatedly washed. This helps to ensure full dye penetration, removes any residual surface dye and reduces shrinkage in the final tailored product. Depending on how you care for the product, additional shrinkage ranges from 5-7% for printed fabrics and 7-10% for woven fabric products.

Laundering

Please refer to the specific care instructions on wash care label. Because cotton is so strong when wet, caring for cotton is very simple and the more you wash it, the softer and more absorbent it becomes. The following tips will help you extend the life of the product.

  • Gentle hand wash or machine wash cold on gentle cycle.
  • Wash items with like colors especially dark colors.
  • Some colours may require to be washed separately the first few times.
  • Keep the zippers of your cushion covers closed to avoid snagging other items in the wash.
  • Tumble dry low heat. Remove items promptly from dryer, preferably when still damp
  • Direct exposure or drying your home linens under direct sunlight causes colour-fading. Therefore, hang them out to dry in the evenings or in shade.

Ironing

Press with a warm iron while damp. If the item has dried, use a spray bottle to dampen the fabric
